*It really does make a difference who you choose to sell your house. We put our house on the market in April and became increasingly concerned with our agent's lack of communication and progress on the sale of our home. We had a great house, in a great location, that was priced competitively. However by September we had zero offers, so decided to shift gears and find a new agent.

I called Jim and since then my only regret was that we did not go with him sooner. He met with us within 2 days of contact. He sat down with us and gave us a detailed education about the structure of the sale, the legalities, and all of the contingencies; something our former agent never did. Within a few days of taking the listing, he had a professional photographer out to our home to update the listing (something else our former agent never did). He got us an offer within a week of taking on the listing, and by the end of the year our house was under contract for asking price. He held our hand through the entire closing process and was always available to answer questions and listen to our concerns. We are still grateful for his hard work and genuinely appreciative of the professionalism he maintained all along the way. I couldn't have asked for a better selling agent. Jim is a consummate professional. Jim took care of all of the details of selling our house, and was able to help us find our current home. He brought in a high quality photographer to showcase our house. We had a contract in 3 weeks, and that was fantastic with the state of the market. Jim is very patient and resourceful. At first we could not decide to build or buy. Jim put us in contact with a respected local builder, suggested possible lots, and helped us to understand the building process. When we decided to buy he would meet us several times at the same house to let us try to get a good feel for the environment. When we were tired from moving in, he had food brought to the house and had our yard mowed. After the whole process I can say without a doubt that Jim is a great Realtor and we consider him a friend.
